Jimmy Thelin has assured Alfie Dorrington, Kenan Bilalovic, Mitchel Frame and Kjartan Mar Kjartansson they still have important parts to play in Aberdeen’s season.
The four summer signings have all been left out of the Dons squad for their Conference League group stage campaign.
Thelin had to submit his squad by 11am on Tuesday and had some big decisions to make to bring in his new signing Jasper Karlsson, while Kevin Nisbet and Stuart Armstrong ticked the box for being association-trained.
