CLARKSBURG, Md. (DC News Now) -- A road in Clarksburg will be closed for around six months as crews work on replacing a storm drain.
The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) said that crews will be working on a new storm drain culvert near the intersection of Shiloh Church Road and West Old Baltimore Road.
Due to this construction, Shiloh Church Road will be closed from West Old Baltimore Road to Conrad Spring Road in Boyds, Md.
Road closures started on Wednesday.
MCDOT said that there is a detour available around the work zone with proper signage. Crews will be working on weekdays (excluding holidays) from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
