Huntersville neighborhood claims they have gone months without mail delivery

HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) - Neighbors in the Vermillion community of Huntersville claim they’re not getting their medicine, licenses, and bills on time because the mail delivery has ceased in their neighborhood for several months.

The community’s mail room is under construction, and that’s required residents to drive to a local post office for their mail.

Even still, residents claim they’ve been unable to retrieve all their mail.

“I have no idea where the mail is. I get notifications daily on an email saying that mail has been delivered at the post office but I can’t collect that mail,” Kevin Cook said.

Cook has been waiting for two weeks for his new driver’s license, he said.
