LUMBERTON, N.C. (WBTW) -- When a newborn baby is in the neonatal intensive care unit, parents can sometimes become stressed about their baby's care.
To combat that, a new live-streaming camera available for the first time at UNC Health Southeastern in Lumberton, gives parents 24-hour access to see their newborn during their NICU stay.
UNC Southeastern staff say the recently installed AngelEye camera system is already making a difference in the lives of families. AngelEye allows clinical teams to send photos, videos, and messages securely through a HIPAA-compliant form.
