LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - After the approval of the presidential permit for expanding the Colombia Solidarity International Bridge, we now have timelines for two major bridge expansion projects.
During a city council meeting on Tuesday, September 2, Laredo Bridge Director Elsa Hinojosa presented a project timeline for the expansion of the World Trade Center and the Colombia Solidarity Bridge.
Currently, engineers are in the design phase of the World Trade Bridge project, which is expected to continue until the end of this year. After that, the project will move into the final permitting stage.
