OUACHITA PARISH, La. (KNOE) - Election integrity has been a major topic across the country, and a new investigation through the Louisiana Secretary of State’s office has revealed findings of voter fraud.

Secretary of State Nancy Landry says the findings stem from a joint investigation with the FBI and other partnering agencies.

Officials say from May to August of 2025, investigators uncovered data revealing 390 non-citizens were registered to vote in the state, and 79 of those voted in past elections, including some right here in Ouachita Parish.

Secretary Landry says, “Each one has been mailed a notice that we have information to believe that they may be non-citizens and they have an opportunity to come in and provide documentation to show that they are a citizen.”
