FAYETTEVILLE — ESPN 5-star and top 10 prospect Brandon McCoy Jr. is making an official visit to Arkansas basketball this weekend, a source confirmed Friday.

McCoy, 6-5 and 185 pounds, was one of four 2026 prospects selected to play for Team USA at the FIBA U19 World Cup in Switzerland. ESPN rates him the nation's No. 7 overall recruit and the No. 2 point guard.

Arkansas assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Chuck Martin was in Switzerland to watch McCoy in action.

McCoy played his junior season at Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco, but recently announced his transfer to Sierra Canyon High School in Chatsworth, Calif., for his senior season.

He missed roughly 12 games last season due to injury but averaged 16.8 points, 6.1 rebounds, 3.8 steals and 3.5 assists in 17 games to earn M
