FOXBOROUGH — A little over a week after being released by the Patriots, Marcus Epps will be suiting up for the Eagles in the NFL season opener.
The 29-year-old defensive back landed on Philadelphia’s practice squad and has been elevated for Thursday night’s game against the Cowboys.
Disappointed with his role in Foxborough, Epps reportedly asked to be released, but Mike Vrabel pushed back on that notion in a press conference after cutdown day.
