New Jersey’s long streak of dry days may come to an end Thursday evening, when a cold front moves through the state, bringing scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms .

While any area of the state could get wet weather, forecasters from the National Weather Service say there’s a higher probability of showers or thunderstorms in the western region.
