CARBONDALE — The latest advances in surgery and patient care took center stage Thursday in Carbondale. Doctors, surgeons and nurses from across Southern Illinois came together for the SIH Surgical Symposium.

The full-day event was designed to improve patient care and strengthen collaboration among providers.
