GLADSTONE — Theresa Ann VanEnkevort (nee Seymour), of

Theresa was born in Schaffer on August 12, 1927, daughter of Joseph and Blanche (Provost) Seymour. She attended St. Joseph High School and graduated in 1945 then continued her education at a commercial college for one year. She worked for the Department of the Army in Escanaba from 1947-1959. She then began her career with the Social Security Administration from 1959 until her retirement in 1983. After her retirement she continued to work part time for Fashion Crossroads in the Delta Plaza mall and the Mata Brown shop in downtown Escanaba.

Theresa’s first marriage was to Ralph Joseph DeCaire, the father of her two children, Susan and Joseph. He preceded her in death in 1978. In the early 80’s she married Al Adams. Al was a great musi
