AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — Seniors at Cal Farley's Boy Ranch received free laptops Thursday through a partnership between AT&T and the United Way of Amarillo and Canyon.

The partnership is part of AT&T's nationwide effort to expand digital access to underserved communities. The goal is for students to have the tools they need to succeed, including access to the internet and education tools.

"For us to be involved in that is really exciting, and to bring it out to Boys Ranch is also especially special," President and CEO of United Way of Amarillo and Canyon, Kiley Murray, said. "Because just watching the kids receive these laptops, knowing what they're going to do."

Murray said the effort reflects the organization's mission of investing in education and supporting youth.
