A flood advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Thursday at 10:35 p.m. in effect until Friday at 1:45 a.m. for Orange County.

The weather service describes, "Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected."

"Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas," describes the weather service. "Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding. Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads."
