CINCINNATI (WXIX) - North College Hill school and city leaders are working together to get students to school on time.
North College Hill Superintendent Dr. Eugene Blalock Jr. posted to social media Wednesday saying just last week 120 North College Hill High School students were late to school.
“One hundred and twenty kids late, that’s unbelievable,” said Selinthia Collins, North College Hill resident.
To address the issue, Superintendent Blalock has collaborated with the city, police department, and local businesses to deny service to students after 8:00 am on school days.
If they don’t allow them in their stores and restaurants - the hope is they will go straight to school.
