DURHAM, N.C. (WNCN) — A man was arrested Thursday in connection with a Durham shooting earlier this year that left two teenagers hurt, a warrant shows.
According to the Durham Police Department, the shooting happened on June 16 just before midnight in the 3200 block of Fayetteville Road.
Police said they found a 17-year-old boy at the scene with a gunshot wound to the leg. About 20 minutes later, a 17-year-old girl arrived at a local hospital in a personal vehicle with a graze wound from a bullet.
The owner of the home where the shooting took place told CBS 17 he rented it out on Airbnb. Neighbors confirmed the two victims were attending a party during the incident.
