SUN PRAIRIE, Wis. (WKOW) – In light of recent ongoing investigations into the Sun Prairie district, lessons on healthy boundaries and reporting were given to students at Sun Prairie West High School.

The district says they collaborated with the RCC Sexual Violence Resource Center and district student services to design these lessons. They focused on safety, empowerment and community.

The lessons aimed to illustrate what a positive school community looks like. They also addressed adult expectations, recognizing healthy or unhealthy relationships between staff and students, and how to report concerns or seek support.

Kristy Yang, who has three children currently enrolled at Sun Prairie West High School, shared her thoughts. She spoke with her daughter about the lessons.
