SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Kennedy Park will soon undergo a $15 million renovation, thanks to a combination of federal and city funding. The project is aimed at strengthening the sense of community and providing new amenities for all ages.
An updated conceptual plan was presented to the public on Thursday, highlighting a new aquatic center. The park will also feature new pickleball courts, basketball courts, and an updated playground.
The renovation project began in April 2024, following a $7.5 million grant from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources focused on outdoor recreation.
