Roswell Tattoo Expo blends art, myth, community
From August 29-31, the Inkers Tattoo Expo turned Roswell into a living canvas, where ink became identity and artistry danced with myth. Beneath the buzz of tattoo guns and the hum of shared stories, artists and attendees from across the Southwest gathered to celebrate more than just technique. They came to honor legacy, explore fantasy and build a community rooted in creativity and connection.
For Mason Pelayo and Christopher Montalvo with All Star Art Collective, tattooing is a deeply personal craft. The say it's about trust, transformation and honoring the stories people carry.
“Tattoo culture’s been in my family forever,” Pelayo shared.
