Bungendore has been named Australia's Top Small Tourism Town.

The award was announced at Parliament House this week.

Fremantle in Western Australia was crowned as Australia's Top Tourism Town for 2025.

Trentham in Victoria claimed the Tiny Tourism Town category.

The Small Tourism Town is for one that has a population between 1500 and 5000.

Canberra Region Tourism Industry Council CEO Dr Naomi Dale said Bungendore, just 40 kilometres east of Canberra, was a worthy winner of the title.
