A forklift driver who sexually assaulted two colleagues has been jailed . Mindaugas Vaitekunas, 44, was found guilty of two counts of sexual assault after appearing at Cambridge Crown Court on Thursday, August 27.

He held an informal supervisory position and used this position to inappropriately touch female colleagues, make sexual remarks and assault them. The two women raised their concerns with their manager.

Vaitekunas was reported to police in July 2023 for alleged sexual assaults that took place between July 2019 and February 2022 at a factory in Littleport. Officers heard the incidents began with sexual insults and harassment on a daily basis.
