Established in the region nearly 50 years ago by North Dakota natives Tony Vetter and Al Wald, Northwest Tire Inc. has long been a leader in tires of all types for people across the Northern Plains.

The company, which has headquarters in North Dakota, opened a new franchise earlier this summer in Watertown, located at 615 Ninth St. SE , in the former Tires Plus building.

“Northwest Tire felt the location, and history of the location, was a premier opportunity to be able to establish what we are all about as a company,” Manager Michael Hoover told the Public Opinion. “Watertown, as it grows, is always in need of a place they can rely on for their automotive needs."
