Road closures for 10 weeks have been announced as part of work to connect the Southern Gateway of Alconbury Weald to the A141. The road will support new homes and facilities coming forward in the second phase of the development this autumn.

The work to connect Alconbury Weald’s southern link road into the A141 south of the railway bridge will take up to 10 weeks from Thursday, September 18. It will require weekday night closures at Spittals Way from 8pm to 6am, Monday to Friday.

The work, which is being undertaken by Breheny, will include installing the new carriageway with footpaths, cycleways, and streetlights, as well as services to support the new homes.
