IMPERIAL — On Saturday, September 6, 2025, the Imperial Valley Fairgrounds will once again become a place of solemn remembrance and community spirit as it hosts the 12th Annual Imperial Valley 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb & Event. This year's event is anticipated to draw a record number of participants, all united in the mission to honor the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

The event, which symbolically replicates the 110 stories of the World Trade Center, invites community members to climb the fairgrounds' grandstands. Each participant will carry the name and photo of a fallen hero, a powerful act of tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
