Alaska Airlines has confirmed that it will convert part of its outstanding order for Boeing 787-9s to the largest variant in the Dreamliner family, the 787-10, according to a report by Reuters .

The move comes as the carrier integrates Hawaiian Airlines and shifts its focus toward serving high-density, long-haul markets across the Pacific. Alaska Airlines did not disclose how many aircraft will be converted to 787-10s or when deliveries are expected. Simple Flying has asked Alaska Airlines for comment.
