To help ensure the health and well-being of encampment residents, Chatham-Kent councillors will consider various options on Monday night.
Staff will outline two proposals for wrap-around services, which would bring together partners in mental health and addictions, primary health care, housing and community outreach.

According to an agenda report, released online Thursday, there can be barriers for individuals in accessing care.
“Engaging individuals experiencing homelessness through traditional service models can present challenges, as these approaches may not align with the unique circumstances and needs of people living outdoors or in encampments,” it stated.
