SPENCER COUNTY, Ind. (WEVV) — Police say they arrested a man after he opened fire on a home in Spencer County.
On September 3, around 7:40 a.m., officers responded to a home in Gentryville for a report of a man sitting inside a vehicle, shooting at the residence.
A short time later, the Santa Claus Police Department located the suspect, Kody Curtsinger, and he was detained at his home.
Police say the home in Gentryville was hit by several small-caliber rounds, but that no one inside was injured.
During a search of Curtsinger's home, police say they found several suspected explosive devices.
Curtsinger was taken to the Spencer county Jail on felony charges of possession of a destructive device, criminal recklessness with a firearm, and pointing a loaded firearm.
