SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - September is Hunger Action Month, and this year, donations to Feeding South Dakota can go twice as far.

Feeding SD Chief Executive Officer Lori Dykstra and Chief Development Officer Megan Kjoser joined Dakota News Now to tell us more about what they do and what people can do to help.

“So, Hunger Action Month is a time for us to raise awareness and inspire people to get involved in the fight to end hunger in America. So then, it recognizes the whole month of September, but then September 9 is Hunger Action Day,” said Dykstra.
