Middle school softball joins Danville athletics programs

DANVILLE — A group of 17 Danville Area middle school girls make up the district’s inaugural junior high softball team.

The Danville Area School District was one of the last districts in the area to add the sport to its middle school offerings; however, interest was apparent, according to program officials.
