A drug dealer-addict, born into a loving family and blessed with many advantages, was sent off to prison with a lecture from a Brantford judge about how she has affected the community.

“You’re part of the problem in this community,” said Justice Colette Good as she sentenced 30-year-old Kassaundra Bell.

“You’re part of a group of people that will go to whatever length to survive and it doesn’t matter who you step on and harm in the way.

“This community is fast becoming a war zone because of drug dealers who traffic in highly deadly drugs, such as yourself.”

Bell pleaded guilty in court to three offences from three different dates but the most serious was when she was found with about an ounce of fentanyl in July last year.
