(WFSB) - According to WalletHub’s 2025 rankings of the “Most Fun States in America,” Connecticut landed at 43rd place out of 50.

The study evaluated states based on two main categories:

Entertainment & Recreation, in which Connecticut ranked 40th

Nightlife, where it placed dead last at 50th

Connecticut earned a total score of 26.91, far behind the leaders in fun like California, Florida, Nevada, Illinois, and New York.

Top-scoring states provide residents with generous access to cinema, amusement parks, nightlife venues, and outdoor attractions, all contributing to more robust mental and emotional well-being, according to WalletHub analysts.
