CRAVEN COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - A man is facing a murder charge for a case tracing back to 2023.

The Craven County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dejuan Frazier, 41, of Craven County, on Thursday.

Warrants show that Frazier is accused of murdering Torran George on August 4, 2023.

Deputies found George’s body while conducting a welfare check in the 100 block of Ferry Road off of Highway 101 between Havelock and Harlowe.

Frazier is being held without bond and had a first court appearance set for this morning.
