Post Malone has postponed his upcoming concerts in London due to planned Tube strikes.

The U.S. hitmaker was due to perform at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in north London on 7 and 8 September, but these shows have now been rescheduled for 20 and 21 September.

In a statement on Instagram, concert promoter Live Nation wrote, "We're sorry to announce that due to planned strikes on the London Underground, we've been forced to reschedule the two Post Malone concerts at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

"Without a Tube service, it's impossible to get people to the concert and home again safely, and therefore no event licence can be granted for the nights of the 7th and 8th September."

The strikes are being staged by members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT), including drivers, signallers and maintenance staff, in a dispute over working conditions and pay. The union is calling for a 32-hour working week - three hours fewer than at present - alongside a pay rise.

Malone's postponement comes just days after Coldplay were forced to adjust the final two dates of their Wembley Stadium run. The band said that industrial action had made it "impossible" for their shows to go ahead on 7 and 8 September, and they have been moved to 6 and 12 September instead.

Malone is currently on the European leg of his Big A** Stadium Tour in support of his sixth studio album, F-1 Trillion. The trek kicked off in Salt Lake City on 29 April and will conclude in London on 21 September.
