“This number is connected to the fact that it’s our 85th year. So, we thought it was a really nice tie in to include that 85 in our goal,” said Leanne O’Mara, this year’s campaign chair. “It’s also a calculation of all the past work and what this year is going to look like.”

As a longtime volunteer with the United Way and a business owner, O’Mara said she knows first hand what these donations mean to the community.
