LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) has charged a 27-year-old accused of inflicting bodily injury to a child, said SLED.

Jordan Hysell, 27, was charged with inflicting great bodily injury upon a child on Tuesday, September 2.

Hysell is accused of inflicting great bodily harm to a child resulting in bodily injury.

Agents said, on or about November 1, 2024, through December 1, 2024, the child had a fractured arm, bruising, healing rib fractures, and a subconjunctival hemorrhage, which resulted in the child’s hospitalization.

The Chapin Police Department requested the investigation.

Hysell was booked into the Lexington County Detention Center.

The case will be prosecuted by the 11th Circuit Solicitor’s Office.
