Anti-social behaviour has been an issue in West Bridgford in recent years
A Nottinghamshire council spent £5,000 on extra security measures after consistent problems with anti-social behaviour. Rushcliffe Borough Council invested in fencing, gates and patrols in West Bridgford , which has been plagued by issues in recent years.
The news was revealed in a financial report on the first quarter of the 2025/26 financial year, which was discussed in a council meeting on Tuesday, September 2. The report also highlighted that the money amounted to an overspend on the council’s “special expenses” budget for Q1.
