Cooperating weather has done the trick, leading to an announcement by Ashley National Forest. “As recent rainfall has reduced the threat of wildfire, Stage I fire restrictions [have been] rescinded on the Ashley National Forest beginning at midnight, Friday, September 5th,” shares the announcement. “Although fire restrictions will be lifted, the potential for wildfire is always a risk. Discharging, or using any kind of fireworks, tracer ammunition, or other incendiary devices in any location on federal lands is always prohibited.” Stage 2 Fire Restrictions in Utah were reverted to Stage 1 Restrictions in Utah on August 28th.
