WALLINGFORD, Conn. (WTNH) — Approximately 200 gallons of phosphoric acid have been spilled in Wallingford, according to the Wallingford fire chief.

No serious injuries have been reported at this time. Crews were dispatched at around 11:30 a.m.

The spill is at 4 Northrop Industrial Park Road West.

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) is on scene and hazmat has been requested. The scene is currently being handled by the Wallingford Fire Department and DEEP.
