PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A garbage truck caught fire on I-95 South in Northeast Philadelphia on Friday.

It happened just north of the Tacony-Palmyra Bridge, near the Cottman Avenue exit.

Chopper 6 was overhead, where flames and heavy black smoke could be seen billowing from the vehicle.

At one point all lanes were closed, but traffic is now getting by the scene.
