CANTON, Ohio — A Stark County grand jury has indicted Terri Niner for charges related to the stabbing death of her daughter , Ayla Mangan, at a Canton home in July.

According to court records, the 49-year-old Niner was charged with one count of felony involuntary manslaughter and count of negligent assault, a misdemeanor charge. Niner will be arraigned in Stark County Common Pleas Court on Sept. 12.

However, the grand jury returned a no bill on the charge of obstructing justice against Francis Niner, the 52-year-old stepfather of the victim. He was ordered to be released.
