ROCHESTER, Minn. — Southeast Minnesota Food Rescue and Redistribution (SEMNFRR) and Olmsted Medical Center (OMC) have introduced a 12-week initiative called Harvesting Health. This program is designed to provide free, farm-fresh food boxes to patients experiencing food insecurity. Every Wednesday from August 13 to October 29, patients referred by healthcare providers can collect these boxes at 5507 Chateau Road Northwest, Rochester. This initiative targets individuals managing conditions like diabetes and hypertension, underlining the importance of nutritious food for maintaining health.
