EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -- The Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office (DASO) will conduct sobriety checkpoints and saturation patrols throughout the month of September, the agency announced.
The operation is to "reduce DWI-related crashes, injuries and deaths," DASO said.
The enforcement effort will be for the entire month, DASO said.
Checkpoints and saturation patrols will be done in "undisclosed locations and areas within Doña Ana County, sometime between the hours of 12 p.m. to 2 a.m. on the respective days," DASO said.
Deputies will look for all types of violations with an emphasis on intoxicated drivers.
