ATLANTA, Ga. (WSAV) — Georgia Governor Brian Kemp announced Friday that 316 Guardsmen of the Georgia National Guard will mobilize in Washington in support of the Joint Task Force-District of Columbia (JTF-DC).
The 300 soldiers and 16 support staff will be placed in the nation's capital following President Trump's executive order on Aug. 11 that declared a crime emergency in the city.
