Recent changes to vaccines have left some citizens concerned about their health in light of the upcoming respiratory illness season.
Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. took office earlier this year and, since then, has made several changes to the funding and administration of vaccines in the United States.
Additionally, Florida's Surgeon General, Dr. Joseph Ladapo, proposed ending vaccine mandates , making the state the first to do so. Ladapo said he aims to eliminate the requirement for school-aged children to receive vaccines such as polio, diphtheria, rubeola, rubella, pertussis, mumps, tetanus, and other communicable diseases.
