HARTFORD, Conn. — Lawmakers were unanimously in favor of the visit.
Harnessed and hitched, the Budweiser Clydesdales trotted on the grounds of the Connecticut State Capitol on Friday.
It was a sight for everyone to enjoy. Eight Clydesdale horses, plus the iconic red carriage with two uniformed horsemen and the lovable dalmatian took a lap around the Capitol lot.
Beyond the photo ops was a chance for the Clydesdale team to spread its message about the non-profit charity “Folds of Honor.”
Anheuser-Busch has worked to help raise around $33 million over the past 15 years for Folds of Honor, which presents scholarships to disabled and deceased veterans and first responders’ spouses and children.
