SIKESTON, Mo. (KFVS) - Heartland wine lovers, this is for you!

The 15th annual Sikeston Wine Festival kicks off Saturday, September 6, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Center Street.

The 21+ event will feature live music from Backroad Drive, local winery samples, complimentary hors d’oeuvres, and a variety of food trucks and vendors.

Jason Davis, executive director of Historic Downtown Sikeston, said the festival is one of the town’s largest fundraisers.

“It is a great night for the community, but it’s also a great night for historic downtown Sikeston. Our Center Street merchants get to be spotlighted because all the activities happen there, and then the funds that come in from this event go to much of our program, so it helps with the look of downtown,” said Davis.
