AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Harrington Cancer and Health Foundation and Amarillo Urology Associates invite men in the Amarillo Area to take part in a free prostate screening on Sept. 6.

According to officials, the screening is from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Amarillo Urology Associates. Officials added that the screening is a blood test, or PSA test, that requires no fasting.

HCHF stated that men ages 45 and older are especially encouraged to attend. No appointment is necessary.

HCHF also noted the event is part of the “Prostate Cancer is No Joke” awareness campaign, and every man screened will also be entered to win one of five $100 gift cards to United Supermarkets.
