HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) – The Thundering Herd has its first home game this season on Saturday at Marshall’s Joan C. Edwards Stadium.

WSAZ’s Addie Smith has a preview of what fans can expect. She spoke with MU Associate Athletic Director Ryan Crisp.

“Anytime we get to open up our doors and host 25,000 people in the Joan is great,” Crisp said.

He said, even if football isn’t your thing, there are lots of things to do outside of the game.

“There’s fun things on the video board to do, there’s fun things in the concourse,” he said. “We’ll have a magic show, we have balloon animals, the concessions have really stepped up their game and have lots of variety and different options.”

Thunder Walk begins at 3:45 p.m. when the football team gets to the stadium and fans make a tunnel for the team
