NEW BERN, N.C. (WITN) - Police say they charged a New Bern woman with selling and hiding drugs.

The New Bern Police Department was called to a report of a couple selling drugs at a hotel. One of the two occupants, Alexandria Harrell, gave officers permission to search the room.

During the investigation, officers found a small bag of white powder, more white powder in a bible, drug paraphernalia, and a crystalline substance in two bottle caps.

Harrell was eventually arrested and transported to the police station. There, law enforcement found more drugs on the police car door, seat, and window, and a drug-filled bag near the police station’s back door.
