DENVER (KDVR) — After a brief taste of autumn, the Denver weather forecast features warmer temperatures this weekend with a slight chance for isolated thunderstorms.

Smoky skies from Canadian and west coast wildfires will also persist.

The good news is that the football forecast looks pretty good for CU and CSU on Saturday.

Boulder has the best chance to maybe see a stray shower Saturday afternoon, with dry conditions anticipated in Fort Collins.

Weather tonight: Chilly!

Skies clear overnight Friday with chilly temperatures falling into the 40s across most of the state. The mountains will see several areas falling into the 30s by Saturday morning. Mostly dry conditions are expected, but any showers will most likely be in the mountains.
