OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The University of Nebraska System announced its received more than $400 million in private donations in a single year. Of that money, UNO is getting $59 million for the 2025 fiscal year.
$17.1 million is designated for their Biomechanics Department for a new building, labs and equipment.
Assistant Dean and Director Dr. Nick Stergiou explained the study of biomechanics and how it can impact your safety in everyday life.
